Karrie A. Thomas
Karrie A. Thomas, Senior Portfolio Manager and Chief Compliance Officer, has been with the Sheavly Financial Group, Inc. since January 1, 2001. She began her employment with the Sheavly Financial Group as a part time office manager and, upon graduating from Old Dominion University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, became an Investment Advisor Representative.
Karrie’s career began when she joined the U.S. Navy in 1989. She traveled the world in her five year career with the military before being honorably discharged to continue on with her education. She moved to Virginia Beach with her husband in 1993 and fell in love with the area. Her husband continued on with the U.S. Navy and has since retired after 20 years of service in September 2009.
Karrie has been married for 18 years and has two children. She enjoys being out on the ocean, swimming, diving, and is an avid reader. She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and enjoys going home to visit with family and friends.
